My sincerest condolences to Mr. Wiggs and his family. When my Dad Johnnie Bennett Sr. Passed away, Mr. Wiggs was instrumental in organizing the Gill Creek Baptist Church Veterans Ministry to support my family and I during this trying time and I will be forever grateful to him for that!

Prayers for comfort during this season for the Wiggs Family. Mr. Wiggs came to GCBC and “jumped” right into serving into the ministry. He was a strong voice not only as a fellow Jubilee Choir member, but also as a member of the Veterans Ministry.
I shall forever remember seeing him walking down Two Notch Road as I scurried to work; his cadence with the huge stick he carried, made me pause and remember to slow down.
His presence at “The Creek” will sorely be missed.Reply

I served as 1SG under CSM Wiggs I recall the enormous amount of knowledge that he possessed. He was always willing to import that knowledge to the NCO who had the privilege of serving with him.My prayers and condolences to the family. He was a great man and he will be missed.

Mr. Wiggs was truly a servant of the Kingdom of God and he displayed that service at the ministry of Gill Creek BC in so many ways. His presence will be missed, yet we give God glory for his spirit of excellence.
The prayers of the ministry of Gill Creek go out to his wonderful wife Mrs. C. Wiggs and to his children (spouses), and grandchildren as well as his many friends.
I was honored to have been called his PastorReply

To the Wiggs family,
I served under CSM Wiggs at Moncrief Army Hospital, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He was a no-nonsense person. He took care of his soldiers and had the respect of everyone. I will always remember when we had NCODP, he would walk in the auditorium with a great presence. As he walked in, all of the soldiers would stand up; and in a booming voice he would say “Keep your seats, keep your seats.”I will always remember CSM Wiggs with great admiration.
